Album Review: Beast – Fiction and Fact
Are you guys ready to tell the difference between “Fiction and Fact”. The host for the game this time round would be the beast boys and would they be telling the facts or a fiction for the fans? Fiction & Fact, the name itself is unique enough to draw out everyone’s curiosity.
No doubt, as this would be the album name for Beast’s first ever full length album since their debut back into 2009. I’m sure most of us have been waiting for this for a long time but not to fret – here it is now!
Let’s skip the introductions and get straight into the tracks listings.

2. Fiction
3. Back To You
4. You
5. Freeze
6. Virus
7. Though I Called
8. On Rainy Days
9.Lightless (Unplugged Ver)
10.Fiction (Orchestra Ver)
As always, the intro of any Beast’s album/single would be good no matter what, this is not an exception at all. Emotional vocals and raps throughout the song that reflects a rough feeling of how the overall album would sound. It is the first time that I have to say that it’s a pity this track is only the intro track for the album.
The title track ‘Fiction’ is not going to tell you the fact. It’s going to be a fiction story which sounds like a continuation from the intro track ‘The Fact’. The fact and fiction seems to be linked together from “The Fact” ending. This track is surprisingly good for a middle paced song and it is undeniably catchy with the instrumentals ringing behind the vocals. Raps and vocals synchronization were a perfect blend, almost flawless I would say.
‘Freeze’ is one of the tracks which I’ll have to show favoritism! It’s just catchy, way too catchy in fact. I got into the song’s atmosphere on my first listen as anyone can clearly hear that this track is definitely a song that will get your feet moving. Just freeze freeze freeze it along with the track and enjoy the tunes, it’s an amazing track.
Overall, I’m tempted to replay the entire album again as all 10 tracks in the album are so amazing and they each have its uniqueness. It is definitely a FACT that I’m impressed by Beast’s first album and I’m falling into a FICTION love story with them.
