Sarang – Modern Korean Dining

Sarang which means love in Korean is one of latest Korean restaurants to reside in the upscale Orchard Central shopping centre. Besides providing regular meals, it is also a bar for office workers to chill out after work.

Many Korean pop stars had visited this restaurant whenever they come to Singapore.  It has also been an active sponsor of Kpop concerts in Singapore. As for the food, check out the details below and taste for yourself!

The + & -

+ New style of Korean food to suit to modern day busy work schedule.

- It is Modern Korean Dining so there aren’t any side dishes and you need to pay if you want more kimchi.

Cute Fingers

Unlike what the name suggests, you are eating rice cake that is dipped with tangerine sauce. Quite an unique taste.

Drunken Pork

Do not be afraid that you would get drunk after eating this fusion style of pork belly. The pork belly is well cooked and tasted great.

Army Stew

Not like the common army stew that I expected. Perhaps it was because it is modern Korean style. The serving is actually quite small.

Panda Noodles

No longer like the usual 짜장면 that I used to have, it tasted and looked more of Chinese ‘Lor Mee’

Pingsoo

I guess this was the only dish that was ‘Korean’ enough for me. Lucky they did not overhaul this desert taste.
