Miss A Special Showcase Singapore 2011
MissA made their first visit to Singapore for Mnet Ultimate Live last year and received a hot response from fans and this year, on 30th October 2011, they held their first ever solo showcase in Singapore, at The Max Pavilion.
The four girls got the crowd pumping with a total of 6 songs, which consist of their debut song 'Bad Girl Good Girl' to their latest hit, 'Good Bye Baby'. MissA even performed songs which they have never performed before such as 'Help Me'. The girls also performed solo stages for their fans – Min performed a powerful dance routine, Suzy showed off her strong vocals by performing an English song, 'Strong Enough' (originally by Stacie Orrico) while Fei and Jia shared the stage together by performing a very fierce and sexy dance routine to Beyonce’s 'Run The World'.
And as always, a showcase will never be complete without interaction with the fans. For this particular segment, MissA threw soft toys to their adoring fans to pick who will get the chance to go on stage and play games with them. The first round of games was a game of Charades and the girls got the crowd laughing with their cute actions as they were trying to act out the word. As for the second game, it was a round of Chop Chilli Chop with put the girls and the fans’ memory to test. Both the fans and MissA had a good time trying to recall all the actions and some of them even incorporated MissA’s dance moves into the game. How creative!
SayAs SG also did not forget about Suzy’s birthday, which was round the corner. Suzy was presented with a personalized cake, costing SGD$2000. The fans also sang the birthday song to Suzy in English, Chinese and Korean. Suzy was so touched that she even tear. To which, Fei said that Suzy doesn’t even cry when they win awards so she must be really touched for her to even shed tears. Suzy herself explained cutely in broken Chinese that she didn’t even think that SayAs SG would prepare such an event for me. As for her birthday wish, Suzy wants her members to stay healthy and for MissA to be well-known throughout Asia.
It is very evident that MissA is loved by their fans in Singapore because of the love and warmth they have been showered with.
