InkiONE K-Pop Party in Singapore
Happening just last Saturday on 5th November at Zouk was the InkiONE K-Pop Party which was jointly organised by ONE and StarHub TV.
The party started at around 7pm where the dancers from Celine Jessandra School Of Performing Arts took the stage with a medley consisting of several hit songs from various K-Pop groups. The crowd was definitely captivated by the performance on stage and pockets of the crowd were even seen moving along to the music. The DJ of the night, DJ Funky T also did an awesome job, dishing out songs after songs that the crowd grooved to enthusiastically.
However, the main highlight of the party was the mini contest where eight very lucky contestants fight it out on stage for a chance to win the grand prize of a trip for two to South Korea to watch SBS Gayo Daejun Live this year.
The eight of them were divided into four pairs to play this game called “Seaweed”, but in the K-Pop version consisting of poses from dance moves off songs like ‘Hoot’ of SNSD, ‘Mr Simple’ of Super Junior and etc. After rounds of the game, the ultimate winner finally emerged and was presented the grand prize followed by a short interview by the host, Ken from 100.3FM.
