Hello !
We've planned another dance session as promised during this holidays.
Those without dance background are welcome to join as well as long as you have passion in dancing. ^^

We've organised quite long ago via blog. So, some plan are changed to suit customers satisfaction.

Date : Weekdays, time (flexible)
Venue: Scape/dance studios
Price: $6 for 2 hours or $50
Maximum 10 lessons.

Attire : Loose baggy shirt, Lose baggy pants or lose track pants , and track shoe or sneakers.

Introduction of my dance move will be provided on my first day. So that you dont regret paying for the session

But most of the people i've thought would prefer $50 because its more worth it in case they're not that fast in learning dance steps. Its more worth it )

Based on my experienced, normally i learned most of the cover around 3-4 days 2 hours each. So within 3-4 session you're prepared for the whole song. That will cost around $18-$24. Pretty cheap :)

Songs available
SNSD - Into The New World, Genie, Gee
F(x) - Nu abo, Danger, Hot Summer
Miss A - Goodbye baby, breathe, bad girl good girl
SHINee- Lucifer, Juliette, Ring Ding Dong
Beast- Breath, beautiful
T-ara : Time to Love

More and more songs ! I learned most of them throughout this whole year. :)

Here is a performance organised for the teachers day 2011. Me and my friend taught them. Except for SNSD into the new world, they learned it themselves. Turn out quite well. :)
Please skip till 1:18.

Hi,

I've noticed that this post of yours is quite similar to my Dance classes in November & December (mainly SNSD) post, which was posted previously in the same forum. I would appreciate it if you came up with your own post in future instead of copying content from my post and editing it to make it seem like yours.

Also, in regards to your video, there are a few mistakes in the dance moves you've taught. Just a heads up.

Hi,

Sorry, i didnt think that I've copied your post and edit to make like mine. I added all the videos. Does it seems like yours + edding ? :) And i dont think there's any problem with that ? :)
And yeah, in case you're not aware, im pratically just a former student and we don't need the dance moves to be exactly the same. There might be some mistakes cause we're not the one who cheorograph themPlus, we dont have to catch up exactly with the dances. And i'm sure we're not that observant . Just tht it wil turn out to be sharp, smooth. not messy and your feelings. That makes the whole dance looks great and less awkward.

Some people have their weakness too. If they still cant catch up with the dance step, i still try my best to make it look less messy and more sharper. At least, i have the basic knowledge about dancing. Adding up, if there are mistakes, it might be that they can't do it or forgot cause they're to nervous. We've practiced it a month before the performance and it was rushing . Thus, adjustment is needed but we're lack of time. So, we just continued the peformance with some mistakes. we've done our best and the audience was satisfied with the performance though. :)

Hi,

We've noticed that you keep editing your post - for whatever reason, but you started off this post with similar format & content to ours, which is why we replied above. Adding one video does not make it your own post, and it isn't a 'problem' per se, but it's not beneficial to either you or us, because this is the format our crew always uses when posting. As you are not part of our crew, we feel that you should try to avoid posting similar content/format as ours, to prevent confusing others.

So you're a former student, & not an experienced instructor? The dances in your video have some mistakes, as pointed out previously, which is fine for performances like your teachers' day performance, as it is just for fun. However, for those who pay to learn the right moves to a certain song, we strongly feel that the right moves should be taught instead of putting mistakes off with excuses.

At K-dances, we charge for dance sessions mostly to pay for studio booking costs & traveling costs for all members, hence we like to ensure that we teach all the moves accurately. We hope you'll do the same even though you're not from our crew, as we believe that all instructors should aim to teach dance moves as accurately and as well as possible, and spread the passion, especially as people are paying to learn. :)

All the best with your teaching endeavors, we wish you success!

We keep editting the post because we need to update the crews with what we have plan and change.

First of all, i dont think the crew will be confused by the format cause its from a different people posting it. They can always refer to who is the one who posted it and that will not make any confusion because what people want to go with is the prices and the details. Im sure they would not care what format we use.

Yes im a former student but ive took dance classes at Recognizes studios. So, Im trained. What i've learnt will be taught to my crews. As for sure, my instructor must be accurate. I took dance street lesson and k-pop lessons. Instructor Arjuna for k-pop dancers and dance street lessons by Chun.

Yes, i am not that professional cause to be proffesional in dancing need years of experince and study about the body languange. What i know will be pass on to my crews. I will not teach people who payed for it inaccurately because i was train by my instructor . I bet the instructor was accurate enough and wont pass on the mistake

As stated, i will show my dance moves of the songs they requested. So if they dont feel they're satisfied with it , they can walk away with the same amount of money in their pockets . I know i can teach dancing cause i've taught some of my crews before. We have not confirmed whether to practice in the dance studios because it might be fully book and it will only left our crews in dissapointment because they dont get to practice the song. And thus, we just need to confirm the pricing and lowering down of prices is possible if they negotiate. We have people requesting to do a dance cover for their talent show when school starts. If the studio keeps being fully book, we dont have any choices but to go to the best place that they wanted because if we keep delaying, school holiday will be over soon and they dont get to cover the song. This happens to me before.

Adding on, if you dont have the basic knowledge of the body languange in dancing, it will not be as sharp and in sync. Basic knowledge about body languange have been taught by my instructor before . So, it will look more proffesional.

All the best to you :)

Hi There,

I am a newbie to K-pop dance moves but would like to learn some basics. My friends & I would like some lessons held at our workplace in Tampines (We do have a small dance studio for staff use). How do u charge ? (Hope it is not too expensive). Actually we would like to try to do a X'mas carol in K-pop which I saw in the below attached link.

Kindly advise asap, Thanks. ( My email: baconprorridge@yahoo.com.sg )

Cheers,
Baconprorridge
